Women in War, Women in Peace resources : Bulletins Share Print In this issue : No True Peace Without the Voices of Women Whether or not they are combatants, women are impacted by armed conflicts. This is why it is crucial to hear their voices and include their active participation in peace processes. A Model for Peace : Women building peace in Mali Supported by ACORD, 24 women and 24 men from different rights organizations gathered to learn and share ideas of how to create an authentic and sustainable peace in communities rebuilding from war. The Messy Process of Peace Peace. The word makes us think of serenity and healthiness. In countries like Burma, the peace process also imbues an air of optimism.
