Truth and Reconciliation Commission news : Updates June 04, 2015 Share Print Inter Pares was a proud sponsor of the closing events of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) on Aboriginal residential schools that took place from May 29 to June 3. The release of its final report was a powerful and historic moment for all Canadians. The accompanying closing events were a moving moment for people to come together to learn more about what happened, to grieve atrocities, to celebrate resilience, and to reflect on reparations and healing. We encourage everyone to visit the TRC’s website, which has a wealth of information in ranging levels of detail, to learn more this chapter of our country’s history, and about how you can participate in reconciliation. As Justice Murray Sinclair stated, “Reconciliation is for all Canadians.” Learn more Truth and Reconciliation Commission website Add new comment You must have JavaScript enabled to use this form.
