Ruperto Celis Ramirez was murdered the 9th of September of 1983 by Shining Path guerrillas. Antonio Benigno Celis was seized in his house by army troops, and tortured. He was taken to the jail in Aucayacu but the military authorities denied they had him. He is now classified as "disappeared". Miguel Benigno Malpartida was found murdered.
