Upcoming food sovereignty events and announcements
Inter Pares, Canadian Biotechnology Action Network, Food Secure Canada and the National Farmers Union are hosting and speaking at several food sovereignty-related public events this fall. In addition, there are some announcements – come out, get involved.
Events:
- Ottawa: The Food Crisis and Climate Change, November 7th
- Laurentides: Special screening of Marie-Monique Robin’s Le monde selon Monsanto, followed by a facilitated discussion with Inter Pares staff member Eric Chaurette (in French), November 13th
- Montreal: University of the Streets Café public conversation, facilitated by Inter Pares staff member Rachel Gouin, November 11th
- Saskatoon: Stuffed and Starved: Markets, Power and the Hidden Battle for the World Food System, November 20th
- Ottawa: Book launch, dinner & celebration – "An Evening with Dr. Shiv Chopra," December 8th
